CANON 12 Commission on the Status of the Church
Section 1. - The Commission on the Status of the Church will consider the evidence relating to growth or stagnation in the missionary work; can help the mission strategy and the relationship of the Diocese with society and the state of relations ecumenical and interfaith.
Section 2. - The Commission on the status of the Church shall consist of one (1) Clergy and three (3) Lay canonical resident in this Diocese, who shall be elected at the Diocesan Synod proposal by the Nominations Committee. Shall hold office for four (4) years, being a member replaced each year at a meeting of the Synod by a person chosen from a list proposed by the Nominating Committee.
